Many photographers have been sharing their tips and tricks how to make better images. Sometimes, they will tell you to buy a mentioned camera that have got some special features that the other ones don’t.
I do believe that camera’s technologies are important. But, photography itself is not truly talk much about the usage of the camera but usually back to the basic things that we have always won’t to do or for the worst case, be the things we avoid in photographing.
The 2 things that I mean are the light and also the composition. No matter how cheap or expensive the camera and lenses you are using, if you have nothing to do about the light and don’t know how to make your image look good with composition, so what’s the usage of the camera then? I am asking you seriously.
1. Light in photography
I won’t talk about the theory here but simply just the things that I am a bit know about it and also have experiences in it.
I am usually glad when taking images in natural light. It is helps me to learn about how to master your tools in such different conditions, force you to think fast about how you will take images because the time is running and the weather can change anytime.
Taking images at outdoors have more advantages for me than indoor like a photo studio, even though both are quiet different.
But, photographing out there is also one of the enjoyable thing that I am sure that many of us will be happy to do.
Even though we can manipulate the light source since it comes directly from the sun, it gives us chances to turn this weakness into opportunity. You can then thinking how to direct the model, which setting should be changed, what lenses to use and many more. You are actually learning how to be more creative as well.
2. Composition
The second or the last parts among all of what you can do to make a great image is the composition. You need to think about the background and the foreground, main object and the supporting ones, where would you like to put the main object inside the frame, and more. You sometimes can even think about the blank and the negative space in your frame it they will be possible to get.
For this, many of us may have been heard or applied what so called as the Rule of Third in photography or the golden ration and whatsoever. There are some of the things that you will getting used to spell the term when you are learning about the composition.
It is about how to put all the required elements inside your image to get more attention, to tell the stories and any other benefits you can get.

Composition itself is so important and the best part of it is that you can actually learn about it without even a camera on your hand. But since many of us now have camera or at least phone that support to take images, you can then learn using it to maximise your potential.
