And now, we’ll getting to know about how light it is where mostly we have been hearing and also reading about the term of “lightweight” of the backpacking hammock that is referring to the travel item that will be used as a shelter.

Lightweight hammock itself is popular for camping. No matter who you are, a camper or simply the one that has the random schedule for traveling, most of us can using it to take a rest and sleep inside a hammock.

There is no other ways to use it except you will have to put all the ends of the hammock and then tying them to the stands (poles, trees, etc). At least, that how its main usage and way to use it.

Since it is so much popular in its usage for camping, whether you are realizing it or not, then it may have been compared with the tent all the times. I think that it is make sense since camping itself is always has the great relationship with the tent. Sadly, that time has gone for a long time.

Now, we are needed more lighter items to bring in travel so we can bring more in our backpack and also not to give more weights to our shoulders and back parts. And that’s how the lightweight backpacking hammock is coming to us as I made up that story.

In answering about how light a lightweight backpacking hammock is, I have do some researches and found that mostly it will only burden your body for around a half of kilo. There are also a term of the ultralight hammock that can even less than that in weight, but there are still not many of the manufacturers are producing it.

So, the lightweight hammock will be the alternative for many of the travelers to “stand a camp” or at least to spend the times on a lazy afternoon.

Now, can you imagine how weight the tent itself will be? Not to mention about the stands for it, the rope, the nails, etc that you have to bring if you want to go out for camping.

Today, there are already the lightweight tent for camping. But, I am sure that the hammock will win the market since we will need the new thing to camp and also still different with the tent itself. I think, I myself have done dealing with the tent. So, thank’s, but no. Even though, I will keep on giving it a chance. But for now, it is for the lightweight backpacking hammock alone.
